Ms. Potee is a product of Richmond Public Schools having graduated from George Wythe High School. She attended Old Dominion University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master’s in Educational Administration.
Ms. Potee began her career with RPS in 2000 where she taught English at Thomas C. Boushall Middle School for 12 years. She transitioned into administration at Franklin Military Academy where she served as assistant principal for 5 years. Presently, she serves as assistant principal at Thomas Jefferson High School.
Ms. Potee believes all students have gifts, and it is her responsibility to lead teachers in assisting students with opening their packages.
